How did you come to this conclusion? It was a library book for me, so I can't reread the chapters, but I'm really struggling to make sense of the ending.
I agree Lucille. I read, re-read, and re-read a few more times and agree with you. Poor Peter. He should have gotten up at 4am and gone to look at the damn birds!
