Thank you for your reply!! Wow, what an honour (≧∀≦) !! I grew up reading yaoi (cuz I’m Japanese). Yaoi is so full of arseholes and we enjoy their arseholery, their inappropriateness, their shock value. The whole philosophy is it’s okay to be bad as long as you’re interesting. When I started trying this MM thing in English, I was shocked at how PC and frankly boring these characters are. No mystery, no mystique, just a lot of lgbt politics. Toreth reminds me of all those great yaoi arseholes that used to amuse and intrigue me as a kid. A truly great character.
