Liam Ostermann So descriptions of inhumanity to animals is to much but the far more extensive portrayal of cruelty to men, women and children is not? Sentimentality of the most ridiculous sort.

MacLeod Jay violence against animals is, to me personally, inherently more disturbing than inhumanity towards humans since animal abuse is inflicted upon creatures whom have no way of defending themselves and the actions of which will never justify being met with violence - hunting animals for food is a different ball game than reading repeatedly about infant animals being gratuitously brutalised.
