Wow! That's really rude. They just asked a question. I also don't love the way reading a bunch of swearing feels, and so this would be a question I'd like an answer to. There is no need to bring up or put down religion in the way you just did right now.
If criminal speak like person from cartoons for 4 years old then I'll think that author cannot capture characters. Sometimes swearing is out of place and sometimes lack of some is as much wrong.
Jenna Barnum - I suggest to read Christopher Hitchens "God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything" for light reading :-)
