Hi, i dont think only that would give Charles Warner such a big promotion. I am pretty sure he must have betrayed by revealing some secret or somebody Aurther was trying to protect. Sadly, its not clear enough :(

I thought i failed to read between the lines, but its certainly a loose thread i would love T. J. Klune to explore , if he is publishing next book

Oh yes my bad i forgot to say why I thought he got a promotion I only answered the betrayal question.

I think he told DICOMY Arthur was a phoenix, which not only would have gotten him a promotion because that's really private information but also would have betrayed Arthurs trust. That's just my guess though it could totally be anything!!
