I agree wholeheartedly. The whole thing in one spot and then suddenly another? It definitely seemed like the plot got lost. I think maybe if I hadn't read his other books this wouldn't feel like such a let down.
I loved the ending where 1/2 the population was sterilized. well sterilized a week before. Perfect. You thought that was bad? hmmm.
