I agree this should be YA classified

Maria, it's so odd what one finds today that is labeled "YA". Even 25 years ago, many books labeled "YA" would have been considered, simply, as Fiction-geared toward adults.

Yeah, it definitely reads like YA.

I liked this, I gave it 3 stars. I might have given it a 4th star had I known up front its target is YA. It sort of threw me for a loop in a negative way.
