Patricia C. 1813 is in the middle of the Regency era, but that's just me being a history wonk :D

Arimathea Quite an achievement for it to be Victorian when most of the book takes place in 1813. Victoria was born in 1819.

Shahira8826 Karen Vozella, what book were you talking about? Definitely not this one! "The Duke and I" does not take place in Victorian times (it's set 24 years *before* the Victorian age began!) and is definitely not "clean" (there are descriptive sex scenes, and even a descriptive rape scene!)
