Thanks for your responses. I have received a book like that before, I just didn't realize it could be before the official publish date.
How do I get on the list for advance copies in exchange for honest reviews?
Lisa, there generally isn't a list but there are sites where you can request arcs (netgalley + edelweiss). Generally reviewers with more reach tend to get more popular books!
