Lottie came to America alone, but I think that Blaire's mom is from the same area. Then Blaire's mom was struggling with her marriage and had to come to someone and I think it was a taking them in out of the goodness of my heart situation.
That's what I understood anyway.

@hanniah yeah that would make sense but still bit unclear. How old was her great aunt Lottie. Age and when Lottie came is unclear. I guess I expect a bit of clarification. It doesn’t have to long history just a year or when it happens and age would help.
