Ahem(inhale)
Watching Gen V, Jujutsu Kaisen, Lost, and Mr. Robot interchangeably when I have time on my own except for when I just want quick fun in which case I watch Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. Watching Good Omens, Hilda, Infinity Train, Peaky Blinders, Star Wars: Andor and Stranger Things with various family members. Each of these shows have multiple replacements scheduled for down the line upon completion. I can link to the full list if any of you want

Enjoy!
Watching The Sopranos for the first time, The Boys, and One Piece. Thinking of starting another show, any suggestions?
I'm currently watching Shogun, which is great but requires reading a lot of subtitles (or speaking Japanese). Since I've watched a lot of anime in my youth, I'm fine with that and the production value and acting is simply amazing. Also watching the second season of Will Trent, which is basically a run-of-the-mill procedural, but has a likable cast and doesn't take itself too serious.
So, first of all. Thank you, Wendy, for posting this. I appreciate you.Just finished The Glory on Netflix. WOOOOWWWW!! It was such a good tale of revenge. I need there to be a season 2; so the young doctor can get his revenge.
Finished The Kingdom right before that; it was good, but could have been better. (view spoiler) That pissed me off.
The Terror - supernatural horror supposedly based on true events of an Arctic voyage. Enjoying it so far!…also Peaky Blinders
1000lb sisters-- just call me highbrow!I've also been on a Resident Evil craze for some reason, I've started the book adaptations of the games & now I'm watching Infinite Darkness on Netflix.

I enjoyed The Terror; but not the end. What was that?? Ugh

100% agree on the end of "The Terror." Major letdown for an otherwise good series. If you're looking for another good series with a bad ending, try "Monsieur Spade." :)
Been watching a show that came out a few years ago called Goliath. Has Billy Bob Thornton in it... strange guy but an interesting show. The Three-Body Problem - based on the series of books
Only watched the first two episodes but I like it.
I've been watching The Expanse because I'm almost done with the book series and wanted to see how it matched up. It's ok but it's hard watching something after spending a lot of time reading the series because the characters never match up to how you've been imagining them. I've also been putting on Below Deck when I don't want to have to pay attention to a show
Well embarrassed to admit I’m just now watching breaking bad! I like it but not as much as better call Saul which I watched first accidentally. I just think when there is all this evil cartel stuff going down you need humor and angst and I feel Odenkirk has that in spades. And he’s vulnerable which I’m not seeing in Walter white and his wife (who is a great actress) makes me crazy with her repetitive non sensical whining, in my humble opinion of course.
No need to feel embarrassed, Dawn! haha sometimes if something is super sensational, or trendy, it can put me off and I don't always jump on the bandwagon right away. I just started Feud: Capote vs. the Swans and saw three episodes. Naomi Watts is amazing in this!!
I just finished watching The Continental and thought it was pretty good. It's kind of hard to grasp in certain areas in terms of connecting it to John Wick but overall it's solid.
Currently watching "Warriors." It reminds me of the Peaky Blinders series. Just finished watching two seasons of "resident alien:" fun entertainment that required no thinking because it was easy to follow. Also watching "Wrong Side of the Tracks"; an interesting series cutting across many social barriers.
Has anyone watched Shogun yet? It's amazing. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it. I still remember the original version done in the 1980s (yep, I'm old) and, at the time, it was a big deal.

I've been watching it. Wasn't sure about it at first, but it's gotten quite good.
Don't be embarrassed Dawn, I always feel it's better to watch shows once they're over anyway because then you don't have to wait weekly or years to find out what happens. I didn't watch Breaking Bad until it was over

Maybe it's just not my style but I couldn't get past the first episode.

I absolutely loved the mini-series from the 80's! I even own it on VHS (possibly lost), and DVD. I've been watching the new one and thought I wouldn't care for it since the book and the original series are so dear to me, but I am genuinely enjoying it. I didn't like the actor that plays Blackthorn at first because his way of speaking is so stiff, but he's grown on me. Hiroyuki Sanada as Toronaga is amazing.
I'm finally watching Happy Valley after years of ignoring recommendations from people...you know that thing when a show gets "over-recommended" to you and it puts you off out of sheer bloody-minded stubborness?? Or just me? Anyway, a fantastic UK crime drama series with top notch writing and performances. There's only 3 seasons with 6 episodes a piece (thanks BBC) so an easy one to binge.
Just finished Six Feet Under, which I don't think I ever watched the final season the first time around. The show is incredible, highly recommended to anyone wanting to give it a try. Next up I'll probably start Warriors.
Finished Twin Peaks rewatch and got the trial of Paramount+ just to watch David's Lynch's season three from 2017 and I really tried but it just wasn't for me, sadly.Still on Only Murders in the Building--almost done with Season 3 now, it's such a fun show with great dialogue.

Has anyone watched American Rust (season 2)? Murder mystery, police corruption, a small town trying to survive...omg... it was a slow burn of a story up until these last 3 episodes and BANG! did it ever go crazy. It ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. Not sure if there will be another season but I really hope there is.

I hadn't heard of this one! Looks like it was originally on Showtime and then Amazon picked it up. It's possible it could go another season if season 2 did well enough.
I've been on a Netflix documentary kick lately. So far I've watched: American Nightmare, The Program, The Outreau Case: A French Nightmare, Surviving R. Kelly, & Files of the Unexplained.I'm thinking of watching The 3 Body Problem next and would love suggestions on some good docs I can add to my list, especially if they're creepy. 💀
Very late to the party but finally watching Mindhunter. Just wow, loving it. I loved David Fincher's "Zodiac" movie and of course "Seven" and this has a similar feel. The interplay between the two main characters, especially their humour and humanity in the face of the horrendously bleak, is just so well executed.

I just watched the first episode of Fallout and loved every minute of it. Very true to the games but still very much its own thing.

Happy viewing!
