Deedeesaidso didn't know it ends in 2018, maybe their will be a second one, phases II lol

message 2: by Bonita (new)

Bonita I wholeheartedly agree with you , I feel a lot was unsaid.

message 3: by Treavor (new)

Treavor Wagoner She said in an interview that this was her "first" memoir, so perhaps there will be a second. If you want to hear more and enjoyed what she shared, maybe reconsider the rating. I had no expectations going into it, and that helped me enjoy it.

Memz D. I thought about the reality show as well! Especially because that played such a big part in legitimizing the marriage!

But I read between the lines when she talked about she would cringe at the body shaming jokes they wrote for her character.

message 5: by Bianca (new)

Bianca Shepherd She states at the beginning there are things she can’t share due to NDA and legal situations.

message 6: by Homegirl (new)

Homegirl She didn’t mention Kobe at all which was surprising.

message 7: by Heather (new)

Heather Juliao I was waiting for her to bring up the reality show too!!

message 8: by Lachele (new)

Lachele J Yeah, it definitely felt like a lot was missing from her book. She definitely gave a lot of background on her childhood, which was nice.

message 9: by Nikhil P. (new)

Nikhil P. Freeman I'm glad she didn't address those things mentioned and she deliberately focused on what she wanted to share about her private life. Objective facts in biographies, memoirs are for worldviews and recollections.

Shantrell L. Lewis Thank you for saving me from this book. I'm 29 pages in and in already struggling to keep reading it. I felt hesitant when she stated in the start that some details were changed and/or omitted to protect people's privacy. I get omitting certain things but changing details makes it sound like making things up or altering things to fit a certain narrative... Think I'll add this to my DNF list and move on to something else.
