Hey undergrounders!I really like this group and - disclaimer - I'd like to share something I've been working on for readers like us who want to find reads based on what people who inspire us are sharing:
My name is Jessica Mansourati and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I am currently building a social reading platform for our generation of readers, in order to make reading more socially engaging and easy to interact around.
The purpose is to inspire more people to read more books because of the good effects it has on our brains, mental health and for society in general.
We want to make it possible for people to take part of what their network, as well as people they are inspired by, are reading.
I think so many of are the type of people whose reading others would love take part of and I’m reaching out to see if any of you are down for a short chat next week to tell me more about your reading habits and preferences? I went underground at CERN, not when they were actually colliding matter and anti-matter particles of course but...they are creating mini blackholes and they say they will disappear.They will not. This book predicts what will happen, and frankly give it one more year and we are all dead. Underground or not.

It a good book that educates the reader about the ills of female circumcision, which has affected over 200 million women and it is still practised in 30 countries around the world.
Have a read about this practice in this fictional novel and then do your research about the topic,
I think we should support the effort to put an end to this practice and more people should know about it.

Hi Undergrounders, I am keen to get what has been buried underground in terms of rampant child abuse & the subsequent damage to their brains brought up into the spotlight. It has pushed me to the outlier position as there are many in positions of power and authority who want children & adults ignorant about their brains and thus merely sheeple when they could be critical thinkers.

Thanks so much to everyone who has joined recently...And also to those who have posted and shared their own "underground knowledge" since the group's inception. Your membership and participation is all contributing to a vast body of hard-to-find information in this global think tank.
I originally set up this group in collaboration with my father, Lance Morcan, a former journalist and newspaper editor, just as a little experiment...Simply to see if anyone else would be interested in citizen journalism or wanted to freely discuss all those topics that mainstream media almost never covers.
We have been pleasantly surprised by the huge interest from members all over the world in debating important and underreported issues of our era.
Let's keep it up and ruffle some feathers on the world stage :)
