Ann wrote: "Can you add me to this round with Black hole radio- Nebulis"Certainly! Welcome to the round, Ann.
Since Goodreads notifications aren't reliable, please be sure to check back periodically to report any new conflicts and avoid missing out on anything posted in the round.
Everyone please note that the rules in message 1 have been updated (due to Goodreads' pending changes to messaging).Be sure to read through them to stay current.

Certainly! Welcome to the round, Sotto.
Since Goodreads notifications aren't reliable, please be sure to check back from time to time to report any new conflicts and avoid missing out on anything posted in the round.

can I join this round with my book please?
A.A. wrote: "https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
can I join this round with my book please?"
A.A.. you can only sign up for one round at a time. I see that you previously posted to sign up for Round 120, which would mean you're not eligible to join this round.
Please decide which round you want to be in, then post in the other one that you're not signing up to participate in that round. Thank you.
Please also note that to sign up you must also specify which of the other authors in the round have previously reviewed any of your books (if none, please specifically say so), and also which of the other authors in the round you have previously reviewed (if none, please specifically say so). (As per #3 under "To sign up for this read/review round" in message 1 of the round.)
The Mod for the round you're staying in needs that information to be able to figure out where in the list you can fit to be able to add you to that round.
In the interest of getting the round going, I propose merging Round 117 into this one. They're both "General" (reviews on GR & Amz) rounds and I believe the order can work. Here's the order (barring any review conflicts):
Participants & Book LinksEveryone please post whether combining the rounds is okay with you.
1. A.B. Sterling - Fascism, Anarchy and Governance: The Search for Social Order in an Age of Political Extremes
2. Chelsea O'Hara - Elias
3. Ann Birdgenaw - Black Hole Radio - Nebulis
4. Jennifer Reinoehl - There and Back Again:: On the Road with the 2024 Kennedy Campaign and Starting an Independent Revolution
(Person 1 reviews 2. Person 2 reviews 3. Person 3 reviews 4. Person 4 reviews 1.)
And if it is okay, please also check the list here for reciprocal and other review conflicts. You can’t be listed to review someone who reviewed you before and vice versa. It’s all about who has already read whom, when positioning the readers in the slots.
Please check these things (please don't rely on memory):
1. Have you previously reviewed the person directly above you on the list in message 1 (the list wraps around so the last number is "above" 1.)?Reminder of how to check for reciprocal reviews:If you have, please post a reply that says so. That way we can fix the list so as to avoid a reciprocal review, which isn’t allowed here.2. Have you already reviewed the book listed for the person directly below you on the list (the list wraps around so "1." is "below" the last number)? If you have, post a reply that says so. That way we can fix the list so it shows the correct book for reviewing.3. Are you an editor, relative, close friend, or from the same household of either the person whose book you'll be reviewing or the person who'll be reviewing your book?If so, please state any relationship you have with those other members. It’s a more-professional practice to avoid reviews from people in those relationships to the author. And Amazon doesn’t allow this anyway.
Go to your reviews through your profile (the link is under your portrait), and search for the other author’s name. Check if someone has reviewed you in the same way… through their profile, searching for your name.If you have no review conflicts, please post a reply with "Ready to start”, or similar words.
After everyone has posted that they’re ready, I'll post the official "start the round" message to get the round rolling! :)
Please don’t get books or begin reading/reviewing until that official "start the round" message has been posted. The order can still change before then.
Hi Lynn,I'm sorry I have to pull out from this round due to personal matter. I'm not confident I can fulfill my reading in the required time.
Thank you and I hope the round can still go without me.
Best Regards,
Sotto
Hi Lynn, are you allowing anyone else onto this round? If so, I cant review Jennifer and she cant review me, but i can review anyone else on the list.It would be with my book Elias

Thank you for letting me know, Sotto. Take care!

Welcome to the round Chelsea.

Everyone, I'll need to hear back from you in a week or less please, to know if we can move the round forward as listed in message 9, or if you all just want to continue to wait in the separate rounds (117 and 119). If I don't hear back in that timeframe, the rounds won't be merged. Thanks!
Can I still join this round or merger? Lol . Chelsea and ann have reviewed me. No conflicts with the others.
Seth wrote: "Can I still join this round or merger? Lol . Chelsea and ann have reviewed me. No conflicts with the others."Not at this time, Seth - it's in the pending/last check stage.
But if the rounds don't merge, then both will need at least one more participant, so please check back in roughly a week. Thanks!
A.B. Sterling, Chelsea O'Hara, Ann Birdgenaw, and Jennifer Reinoehl, please see message 9 above and respond.I'll need to hear back from you in about a week please, to know if we can move the round forward as listed in that message, or if you all just want to continue to wait in the separate rounds (117 and 119). If I don't hear back in that timeframe, the rounds won't be merged. Thanks!
Lynn,I'm ok with merging and I've not been reviewed by Chelsea, Ann or Jennifer.
Thanks for getting this moving.
A. B. Sterling
A.B. wrote: "Lynn,I'm ok with merging and I've not been reviewed by Chelsea, Ann or Jennifer.

Thank you for that information, A.B.
But have you previously reviewed the person directly above you on the list in message 1 (the list wraps around so the last number is "above" 1.)? And have you already reviewed the book listed for the person directly below you on the list?
If you're also clear of these possible review conflicts, you need to please post that you are "Ready to start”, or similar words (as stated in message 9). Thanks!
Okay, sorry, I had a few questions, but round 117 was closed, and I didn't realize everything had moved here. Ann has reviewed me, so she can review me again. I have reviewed Chelsea.
As is, the list looks good, so I am ready.
Jennifer wrote: "Okay, sorry, I had a few questions, but round 117 was closed, and I didn't realize everything had moved here..."Just wondering, are my messages in Round 117 about seeing Round 119 for possible merging not visible?
S. Lynn wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "Okay, sorry, I had a few questions, but round 117 was closed, and I didn't realize everything had moved here..."Just wondering, are my messages in Round 117 about seeing Round 11..."
I got the last message in Round 117, but the round had been closed by the time I read it, and I could not comment there. I wrongly assumed that the last message you posted meant I needed to come to this round and sign up again, but I wanted to find out how we were exchanging books now that messaging is closed, before I did that. I did not click to get notifications in this round because I did not realize I was already on the list here.
My main concern was that I don't want to post my e-mail in a public forum, so I was going to see if people could contact me through my website instead. I was not sure how to ask you this since that round was closed and I could no longer comment.
When you contacted me through my website, though, I immediately got the message. I also assume that it would be okay for people to contact me that way since you did? Unless you have another way that does not involve posting my e-mail address?
The ways that this group has come up with for privately exchanging emails - if needed - are part of the "getting this round going" post, coming soon. :)
Thank you all - let’s get this round going! You have four weeks to read and review.
Start date: Feb. 13, 2026
End date: March 13, 2026
Please post your review no later than MARCH 13, 2026.
As AUTHORS, you’ll send your book file to your reviewer, and as REVIEWERS, you’ll receive a book file to read.
1.__A.B. SterlingIt's the responsibility of each author to get their book to their reader in a format the reader can manage. Everyone must be able to provide — and accept — at least PDF files. You may buy or borrow the book you are due to read, if you want, but it’s not required.
You're reviewing Elias (Chelsea O'Hara).
Jennifer Reinoehl is reviewing your book, so please make sure they have a copy to read.
2.__Chelsea O'Hara
You're reviewing Black Hole Radio - Nebulis (Ann Birdgenaw).
A.B. Sterling is reviewing your book, so please make sure they have a copy to read.
3.__Ann Birdgenaw
You're reviewing There and Back Again:: On the Road with the 2024 Kennedy Campaign and Starting an Independent Revolution (Jennifer Reinoehl).
Chelsea O'Hara is reviewing your book, so please make sure they have a copy to read.
4.__Jennifer Reinoehl
You're reviewing Fascism, Anarchy and Governance: The Search for Social Order in an Age of Political Extremes (A.B. Sterling).
Ann Birdgenaw is reviewing your book, so please make sure they have a copy to read.
Please honor the commitment you’re making to your fellow group members to give an honest review.
Quick "start-up" summary:
-Get a copy of the book you're reviewing as soon as possible. You’re reviewing the book "below" you on the list. There are several methods for getting a copy of the book to read and review:For GR+Amz Rounds:1. You can choose to buy the book, but you don’t have to. If you do buy, certainly the author will appreciate the verified review on Amazon.-Please make sure you have sent your book - or have been assured by your reviewer they will buy your book or read it through KU - as soon as possible so your reader can start reading.
2. You can choose to read the book through KU, if you’re a subscriber and the book’s available there.
3. You can request a review copy from the author. If you need to get a review copy from the author, post that request in this topic. Then you and the author will coordinate to get information exchanged and a review copy to you - using one of two options (see Getting a review copy). These options are recommended for exchanging email addresses - to avoid the chance of spammers getting your email addresses from this open forum. Don’t post your email in the round - it’s an open forum. When the author has sent the review copy, they need to post in this topic that they have done so.Everyone, when you have gotten a copy of the book you are to review (through whatever method), post in this topic that you have gotten a copy.
-For this round, you’re requested to please post your review to Goodreads, and on your own Amazon store and any other Amazon stores you might have access to. Posting a review to other sites is by agreement between both author and reviewer. We understand that outside world commitments can sometimes make it difficult to complete a review on schedule. If you're going to be late getting your review in, you need to post to the round topic about the delay. Failure to post or complete reviews can result in repercussions, as detailed in How Read/Review Rounds Work (The Rules).-After you’ve posted your reviews, please reply to this topic with the links to your reviews (not the book page) so you can be "signed off" for reviewing.Be sure to shorten your links to remove possibly personal information and give you a clean link to post (remove the "?" or "ref" and everything after it).
You can post your Goodreads review link before the Amazon one has been approved. But since Amazon can take days to post the review, it might be better to wait until the Amazon review appears, then review the book on Goodreads, and then post both links together in one message in this topic. If you don't have the Goodreads and Amazon links on the same date, please don't edit your original post to add the second link as it's unlikely the Mod will see that. Create a new post with the link.
The moderator will note whether participants have posted reviews on Amazon. Members who persistently fail to post to Amazon will find mods less than willing to add them to subsequent GR+Amz rounds, as joining these rounds indicates both a capability and a willingness to review on Amazon.
For the good of all, participants in any type of round who persistently fail to post reviews, or DNF reviews, will find mods less than willing to add them to subsequent rounds.
Please let me know ASAP if I missed something that results in you being asked to review someone who’s already reviewed you.
Feel free to ask questions if you need to.
Happy reading & reviewing! :)
I have a copy of Elias by Chelsea O'Hara from KU and I've started to read. Jennifer, if you need a copy of my book Fascism, Anarchy and Governance, let me know how you want to receive it.
