It's an unbeatable team: Ann Patchett writing, Meryl Streep reading. I read the book (and loved it) when it first came out, but have the audiobook on my wishlist because Meryl Streep narrating!

This is the second book I've listened to with Meryl Streep narrating and I agree that her voice acting is a full experience. The first book was The Testament of Mary by Colm Tóibín and it was that same 'one, two punch,' team that made the story come to life. Tóibín's world weary, embittered Mary voiced by Streep moved me profoundly.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
