Loved how you broke down the characters and plot - makes me want to dive back into the series. Barbara’s wardrobe struggles always crack me up!

Thank you Taufiq. 😊🍇🌹
Your illustrated reviews must take *hours* to research and assemble. They're very impressive, as always, but this one is above even your high standard!

Thank you Richard. You're correct, this review was a lot work. But Elizabeth George spent a lot of time on this 656 page book and I'm fan of the series.. So it's all worth it, I hope.
BTW, it's' nice of you to notice. 😀🍉🌺
Enticing review, Barbara! Just loved reading it, and I'll be Barbara felt so out of place at Lynley's ancestral home.
This one has been on my iPad since it's release on September 23rd, but I do what I always do with Lynley books: I save it. I want to read it and spend time with Lynley and Havers and company, because I know it'll probably be a year or two before there's a new one. Might be silly, but I do the same thing with dinner. I eat what I love the most last, and sometimes, I'm too full to eat it!
I want to see Azhur and Hadyyah again, and Elizabeth has promised that she's not done with Hadyyah's story. Actually, she said, "Unless I drop dead, you will see Hadyyah again." I hope the first does not happy and the second does. And, of course, I want to see Salvatore again!
This book took longer to appear because Elizabeth said it took six revisions! I was so surprised at that from such an accomplished author.

Thank you Bella. I'd love to see Hadyyah again too. She was a good influence on Barbara. 😊🍉🍇
