These are sci fi stories about bioengineered humanoids (called Cauzzies) that were created in Australia by Louden Frear to stop climate change but have since taken over the continent.
In the sequel, a mutant Cauzzie takes the future president of the US hostage planning to escape to Antartica. CMP agents are on the trail to rescue the president but things do not go as planned.
The third book is futuristic and takes on a surreal aspect with the Cauzzies being further bioengineered into literal monsters while the main character, Gideon, a high level thief, is forced to join the Cauzzies in their efforts.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick note to say that after almost 25 years the Governor's Men Trilogy is... complete! The New Empire went live on Amazon in April. Hurrah! Vil and Cassus finally hang up their space boots in the final instalment, which extends to c. 80,000 words (including appendices!) It was great fun to write and although I long ago gave up trying to write a serious dystopian sci-fi novel, there's still plenty of mischief and general skulduggery!
TNE is by far the best book of three and I confess that I'm pleased with it, but I am equally pleased that I can move onto other projects.
