Please…I still turn heads! I just trip and fall immediately when I walk into a room. Works every time!
You are absolutely right about that first paragraph!! Great review and I’m looking forward to reading it soon! 😎
Amazing review, Melissa! 💜 I am right there with you. Brooke Shields is still just as gorgeous today as she ever was.
I adore your new mantra and this review, Melissa! The invisibility thing is real for sure, but so is the freedom you described. I'm sure I'd find this book relatable! 💗

I'm with you: this is a great age -- I have fewer f's to give, and while I've always spoken my mind, I'm being even more gregarious, and it feel..."
I was little more timid in my 20s, though I did have my moments, but now I have zero f's to give, to use your phrase, Melissa. And yes -- it feels fantastic. I'd choose my 40s over my 20s any day. :)

Thank you, Kat! The freedom is what I enjoy the most about middle age. I wouldn't go back to my 20s for anything. :)
I love how you juxtapose physical aging with how ready to be seen we finally are, Melissa. I do wonder sometimes if it’s the invisibility that allows us to find ourselves…?

I agree -- I think it IS the invisibility that allows us to finally come into our own, Jennifer. It's because we're not so focused on our outsides at this age, and we're able to work more on our insides. :)

I'm with you: this is a great age -- I have fewer f's to give, and while I've always spoken my mind, I'm being even more gregarious, and it feels marvelous.
