The schizophrenia was off-putting to me, too, espceially since had hitherto liked Shallan. Well, no worries, it gets better. Of course it gets worse BEFORE it gets better but that is the nature of the beast, innit? ;P
True. Also glad to see Renarin become useful
Yep, that was nice if only because he was so used being in his brother's shadow.
