Maybe because you didn't read the 2nd one and all the character building that was done in that one? 🙈

I really liked both Pip and Ravi in that one - but then the third book made more or less minced meat out of all the things they used to stand for - and believe in.

That Pip would kill someone, cover it up, and then (magically) get rid of her PTSD just rubbed me in the wrongest of ways.

It was so totally out of character! And the way she was acting towards the end, when she left all her friends and took off, was super incriminating, rather than making her seem innocent. It made zero sense to me, even if I by then just assumed the police was as inept as he'd been all along and/or wanted her to get away with it.

To clarify: I DO actually like the idea of killing the serial killer and framing the rapist though! Both deserved everything they got, in my opinion - I've got no qualms about that, what so ever. But the way the plot was executed wasn't for me. And the book was way too long! 😬😬😬
