Thanks for the heads up from your review. I might have tried to read this if I could have gotten it from the library but Hoopla doesn't have it. So I guess I'll be passing on it because Amazon has become really dicey over the last year or so about allowing people to return Kindle books within 7 days that they DNF'd.

I had it from Libby, actually. Glad I didn’t waste the money, or hassle with returns.
I keep meaning to figure out Libby once and for all, but several times I've tried it I couldn't get it to work. Just me I'm sure but it doesn't seem remotely as straightforward as Hoopla.

I finished it, but didn't like it any better than you did. Nice job on articulating your problems with it.
