I couldn’t agree more with this review and also the ratings of the three books. The second book was by far my least favorite. I only got through it to get to book 3. They were by far the best couple.

I only disagree that tying up Hugo was necessary as it stretched the plot in all 3 books. But the way it was done I felt didn’t live up to any of the action in the previous two. It did seem OOC from Fire on for Hugo tbh.
