NOOOOO! Say it ain't so, Beverly . . because I have a sinking feeling I feel the same way . . . I was voracious through till about "Fires of Heaven", then sort of just plowed on till "Knife of Dreams" then just drifted off . . . I even purchased Gathering Storm, but haven't even cracked it. I have forgotten so much of the story, I have been thinking I needed to go back and re-read. My feeling was the same in terms of being bogged down, but also Rand became more and more reticent and downright mean as the story moved on, so not only did we get muddled with side notes, the main melody began to fall flat as well. hmmmm. . . I am a little OCD about finishing things, though, so I probably will do it, but man . . . after your post in particular, I am not sure I am going to like it.
