David Hard to take your opinion seriously if all you remember from Ice and Fire are rapes and incests.

Rita Gorgulho I was just refering to darker parts of the books. Don't get me wrong, I also loved ASoIaF.

David Rita,

Upon re-reading my response it looks I may have been a little harsh. The point I was trying to get across is that I feel a truly great work can't be constricted by PG13 policies unless it's meant for PG13 audiences. The fact that there aren't any "dark parts" isn't necessarily a problem, but I'm afraid the fact there just can't be any will make this world harder to believe in..

Rita Gorgulho I understand your concerns. I never had them because I already knew his other books, and the style is pretty similar. I didn't thought it hard to believe in the world, specially because there are a lot of historical events suporting it (I don't know if you know it, but like Mistborn and Warbreaker, this book is set in the Cosmere - they are all related and part of bigger story). Still, like I said before, I would recomend it just because of the amazing world-building.
