If I may, absolutely yes. In my very humble opinion at times our society tries to be too "politically correct." As a society it can be hard to accept that in different times and cultures people do not have to be a certain age, appropriate age to have feelings. If I loved someone when I was 12 does that make my love for the person different because of the age? This is making sense in my head, not sure if I am typing it like I want it to be understood. So with that, I will end my comment.
Matt, that makes perfect sense. Of course R & J are politically incorrect according to today's standards. Apparently it is hard for people to wrap their heads around the mentality of the 16th century. The story itself, however, is quite timeless.
