That's true. He was a lot more self aware than she was, and he did know what he wanted. I think thats why the character frustrates me so much more than Scarlett does. Either way they are both brilliant characters. They have so much personality. Though I don't know about the mistress thing, because I still think he did it simply to get a rise out of her and throw her off. I got the impression he just loved doing it for kicks rather than because he actually meant it.
Lol, that is so Rhett, but even doing if for reasons such as that makes me love him. He's such a scalawag.
