Absolutely agree. In the first three books, there was sacrifice and consequences. Bella chose to give herself up in place of her mother. She chose to go to Italy to save Edward. She chose Edward instead of Jacob. And she dealt with the consequences of those choices.
In BD, there were no consequences. SM pulled all the strings so that Bella didn't sacrifice a thing. A surprise baby that just happens to make peace with the wolves, and settle the Jacob issue. Doesn't have to give up her dad because of "don't ask don't tell" (which was SO OOC for Charlie). Was it a HEA? Maybe. But it was also a big so what because nobody earned anything. The first three books were so much better.
