Megan, you are correct about the Bible being true. So when it says in Psalms that the righterous will possess the earth and reside forever upon it, that's true. And when it also says in Matthew (The Lord's Prayer) that God's will be done ON EARTH as it is in heaven, that's true too. Yes, please, don't accept blindly the belief that we all live on forever somewhere when we die. It's just not Biblical.
