IT also. Epic. Scary. Emotional. Such great storytelling. The Shining and The Stand are close.
IT aswell amazingly written. i loved it
The Stand was great but there were a few loose ends that never got tied up. I thought the storytelling of IT was much better. I loved the friendship and loyality in it. I found that I was in their world when I read it... It will always be my favorite! :)
It is 98% the greatest horror novel ever and then comes the end. It is very good and I do love it. But the ending is just not as satisfying as the rest of the novel was.
I think the ending to a good book is never satisfying because we don't want the book to end. We don't know what the ending should be and we don't really ever want a good book to end. That is my theory anyway...I think that is why I love the ending to the Dark Tower Series....I won't say more than that. Anyone who has read it will understand...anyone who hasn't should read it and find out. ;)
Yes. The Shining had me up until 3am...My husband started to complain about the light being on all night!...teehee!
