While I don't agree about Wolf Hall at all- I can assure you that Bring Up the Bodies is a much easier and more conventional read. You'll have no problem with it. I think some editor went in and wherever Mantel said "he" in a confusing way, added "he, Cromwell." It's kind of funny.
