Gabriel Cooper It is true. Edmund represents a fallen man who so sinful he cannot hope to save himself. It is required for one who is blameless to die for him. Edmund represents all of humanity and Aslan represents Christ. C.S.Lewis is a Christian and intended this metaphor to represent the relationship between man and Christ.
