Nichola His mother had nothing to do all day but educate him. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that he advanced quicker in some ways than others. In this situation it would be hard to predict how a child would develop.

Mj 1. I thought the book was fresh in the first half and really dragged and was quite boring in the second half. I didn't go into a lot of detail in my review but here it is.

2. I could give you more specifics but I have another suggestion that might help.

Go to the book's home page, move down to Community Reviews, Filter and Ratings. You'll see a green bar.

If you put your cursor over the Filter, you will see different ratings. If you click on 1 Star as an example, you will see all the 1 star reviews. Hopefully that will provide more negative feedback regarding the book.

Maria I agree with Nichola. Most moms are too busy to give their 5 year old continual attention. They were in a shed for 5 years. the fact that she didn't even let him watch commercials or too much TV was pretty amazing. She was an amazing mom. They were both so codependant on each other, in a loving way. I really loved this book

Hayley Linfield I raised two little boys and I thought his language was bang on. I loved the pre-escape part and found the post-escape part extremely interesting, particularly the whole thing with his spatial awareness. I thought it was well-researched and extremely well crafted. Highly recommend.
