Marie-pier oups! I guess so! I'll try to buy the one that comes in three differents books (my wrist hates me already after reading GOT.) Hobbit it is then!

Rizwan If you are nitpicking, then I feel you should know that LoTR is a single NOVEL, broken up into 3 volumes and 6 books.
Its not a trilogy true, but to be accurate its not one book either. Although you can get all 6 books/3 volumes together in one big book these days...

Mitali It's one book in the normal sense of the word 'book'. The fact that its 6 parts are called 'books' doesn't change that. No one is going to read, say 'Book 1' and 'Book 4' only, unlike in case of a series of 6 separate books.

Steve I agree with everything Mitali says, but still recommend reading The Hobbit first.
