up until HG, i had never read YA's, i had always read fantasys (mostly about dragons)
I've been fascinated by dystopias ever since I read 1984 at age 13. Showing my age here, the year 1984 was still in the future. It's a great thrill to see the genre become popular with a new generation.
I actually read 1984 not that long ago, and really enjoyed it!
The next novel of this kind I want to read is the Handmaid's Tale.
Ah, Book Worm, I must have misinterpreted your comment based on the comment about reading "my age and above"
