It has been a while since I have been on this site. I received a notice that Sarah had made a post. My points about "kissing dating goodbye (KDG)" in brief are:
- There are problems that KDG have caused. Josh Harris is quick to point out the problems he sees with dating but silent on the problems KDG has caused.
- My experience has been that where people teach this the single men and women avoid relating with those of the opposite sex vs. learning how to relate.
- It shouldn't be a one size fits all that applies to all people. It is more designed for teenagers vs. older singles.
- Two of the couples that Josh Harris mentions in his seqquel to KDG titled "Boy Meets Girl" are now divorced (have been now for at least a few years). That shows that KDG/Courtship isn't a perfect as some will make you think.
