I am starting to feel like it could be about 150 pages shorter. So hopefully I don't agree with you. But I am starting to feel like it's dragging.
Yer I don't want ppl to agree with me I want them to love it lol but I think it could have been much shorter without changing the story
After I finished it I was kind of disappointed. I felt like they wandered around for x-pages then she was like wait! We haven't found the manuscript...oh! Wait...we have to go back home! So she crammed it into a few chapters. Maybe it was her attempt at a cliff hanger. I don't know. I will still read the third one. Maybe I just won't be as excited to read it :-\
Yer I will still read the third one too it hasn't turned me off completely but I may not rush out to buy it on the day it comes out like I did this one
I too loved the first book and was so excited for the second book. Although it keep me reading it was not all I thought it could have been. The book just felt as though it were filled with after thoughts "Oh and than this happened". First book felt very intelligently written learned a few things, second book although it were long enough really miss the chance to share any information of the era. I probably will read the last book but won't be in as big of a hurry as I was with second book. Kind of sad =(
I agree with you Jessica Waller on the ending. The book was interesting and I liked the historical characters. But it seemed to drag on for a while then all of a sudden things sped up in the end. And when I finally got to the last page, I caught myself trying to flip to the next page thinking "That's the end?" I'll still read the next book, as I like the plot and details in the books. I was just a little disappointed in the execution of book 2.
