sometimes bad kids come from good parents! simple as that.
Yeah, I guess that's about the only explanation out there. Sometimes people are just jerks. And I know Follet used him as a foil for Jack. But I was still disappointed that he turned out the way he did.

Well, there probably is a reason why he acts the way he does. When he was younger, his mother died so he had a sense of sympathetic entitlement and with the knowledge of leaving his baby brother for dead (and not realizing that he survived afterward) he got seriously messed up.
