Thank you. You have echoed my thoughts precisely. The book is claustrophobic....I have read 200 pages to learn the most meaningless, insignificant details. The book is awful.
I had a very hard time with this book as well because of Mantel's writing style. I ONLY finished because it was for one of my book clubs.
