Daisy sanchez That was one of my favorite part of the book

Jocelyn Gunter I think I could have done without that scene in the book!!!

Vanessa I agree with you Gloria. The book ending was so much more dramatic. The book left you wondering if Logan died in the accident. It wasnt until they visit the grave that you realize Logan was still alive. Zac was great for the part however Taylor Schilling seemed a little old for him.

Gloria Esquerra My friend and I both thought Taylor S. seemed too old for him. But, yeah, books are always superior to the movie.I hope "The Guardian" isn't made into a movie. My favorite N. Sparks book, don't want it ruined.

April I liked The Guardian also not my favorite but I think it is cool that your favorite is one of lesser know books. Would be a cool movie you don"t have to see it. I have all of his books ( even Three weeks with my brother) but haven't several of the movies.

Gloria Esquerra I've read all of his (Sparks) books and loved most of them. The ones I didn't "love," I liked. The Guardian with the Great Dane and the psycho and two main characters, was well written, intense. I read it all in a day. Cried when the Singer gave his life for Julie. Anyway, The Lucky One was another favorite. Fabulous book, good movie.

April The Lucky One and The Best of Me are two of my favorites. I do also love The Notebook and Walk to Remember. I like all of his books!

Gloria Esquerra A Bend in the Road was a good one, too, but sad and depressing. Did you know that Zac studied with a Marine sergeant for the role of Thibault? I didn't know that...until a friend told me just a few minutes ago. Have you read Everneath by Brodi Ashton? It's a good book.

message 9: by April (new)

April I didn't know that about Zac and I haven't read Everneath I will check it out. Thanks

Karensa saw the movie and read the book. Felt the movie left off an important party of book the scene where he catches the sheriff watching the girls and snapping pics and him taking the caamera and slashing tires. that lead to the animosity between logan and ex husband.

Nancy There was some left out but overall I liked the movie more than I have others made from books.
