A lot of my friends are recommending this book to me. I'm glad I have another masterpiece to read after Pillars of the Earth.
I've read both, Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. Absolutely loved both of them--couldn't put them down.
I've heard mixed views on World Without End. I also have it sitting on my TBR shelf but haven't taken it up yet for fear of being disappointed.
But then I have heard people say the same about Edward Rutherfurds follow-on sagas - that they weren't as good as his first. Maybe we go in with expectations in the subsequent novels, whereas when reading the 'firsts' we have no expectation?
