Yes I loved the descriptions, i used to live in london, but down south instead and the way she wrote about the cemetery and the memorial park they visited made me wish i'd have gone while i had the chance. I thought that the characters would grow on me that they would change, but if anything they became less likeable. The section with Robert and the body, and later Elspeth as she came back i thought were beyond creepy. I think perhaps i shouldn't go back to read TTTW becuase i enjoyed it....maybe i too would like it less after a re read.

Didn't mean to put you off a re-read! I think may be I read TTTW too soon after this one as I wanted to remember the feeling I had of loving Audrey's writing - unfortunately for me it backfired!!
