I totally agree! there's a dark side of Patches that we don't know yet... It's creepy to see him so close to Shireen. :/
Agreed too! It's seems we have the same feeling about this character. Even if he doesn't add something to the plot, GRRM keeps him close to shireen from Dragonstone to the North!
Maybe we'll learn more about him in the next volumes. There's something strange/dark about his survival...
