I'd say The Fountain Head should be read first, then Atlas Shrugged.
The Once and Future King because I missed my bus and had to wait an hour. Because I missed my bus, i discovered this wonderful little book store, and The Once and Future King which was a delightful and fantastical retelling of the Arthur legend.
Also Christopher Moore's Lamb about the lost years of Jesus' life. It was irreverent and funny without being blasphemmous.
I can't get past Rand's very lame command of English. Her sentences are just appalling at times. Gets in the way of her message which is immature and overly simplistic.
