I disagree. What's wrong with flagging something as boring unless I have completely? Are you saying that you have never stopped reading a book, walked out of a movie, or turned the channel because you were bored? If I'm going to invest 600 pages of reading to only get to the "tipping point", that equates to shame on me or shame on the author. Granted, I love the Malazan Empire books, I'm on #8 now, and there have been slow parts - 50 pages or less - not 600 pages.
i so love your comment Robert. People do love to put in their 2 cents even though they still haven't finished the book. If you do not like the book, why are you here commenting that its boring and all? you should move on to other books that you "prefer" rather than commenting that its boring even though you haven't finished it. Your wasting your time dude.
do you have brain damage Patrick? Should people only comment on books they like?
