I actually really liked that too. He gets a lot of criticism for it but I can see that he was attempting to create something that hadn't been done before.
I loved the inclusion of King in the final book. It just seemed perfect. I loved the ending as well. I think it's the best book ending I've come across. If it leaves you wanting more, then ...ka is a wheel, start from the beginning again and you will see things you missed the first time.
