What you say here is really interesting. Something i still don't understand that well is why Atticus was so willing to blame Jem for the death of Bob Ewell, it could have had terrible consequences for Jem and he was going to risk it.
Yes, that's how honest Atticus was. He was willing to blame his own son for Ewell's death, but would've tried to prove his innocence as "self defense."
At the point where Atticus looked at Jem, I believe he was unaware of Boo's level of presence. The sheriff cleared up the confusion ...
I agree. I also like that last remark from mia. Boo in the house to keep from getting the attention. I think he got more attention by staying in.
