Kathie I agree that there are advantages to listening to an audiobook.
therfe are several opportunities to listen while doing housework, gardening or commuting to work. I find myself distracted when words are mispronounced and I also find that some readers speak too quietly, use poor quality audio equipment, or have a difficult to understand accent. I will continue to take advantage of audiobooks while multitasking.

Brenda Kirton I had one audiobook that had not been completely edited. there was at least a fifteen minute section where the misread portions were still there. in a way i found it interesting, to listen to the reader work out where to put the emphasis in the sentence.
