umm if i recall Dimitri had a talk with rose and how he didn't want to steal her from adrian cuz he didn't think that was right

@midnightkiss: Adrian was aware of what would ensue if he and rose dated with Dimitri around. just b/c he turned strigoi or after turning back to damphir he says love fades, Adrian cannot be completely satisfied that competition is over. He wanted a teenager who was still mourning the loss of her boyfriend. He did not give her the space and time to fully accept him.
So i think Dimitri as not at fault if he had sex with her. Imagine the feeling of a guy recently returned from strigoi days to find his love with some other guy, sure he would want to reclaim what is his. Adrian knew all these and still wanted a shot, so he deserves if rejected. Somewhere in spirit bound he tells her he has been in love with her the moment he met her, that is in book 2. By book 2 rose and Dimitri were in love.
I don't know is it not cheap to manipulate and steal a girl already in a relationship with another guy; Its looks like he'd been waiting for a chance to be rid of Dimitri and he got his wish fulfilled when poor Dimitri was lost to strigoi?
If that's true, why would Adrian trust and help Dimitri during Rose's escape?
@ Sammy: good point. I cant think of why he did that. Surely he did not think of sharing rose with Dimitri i hope.
@ Midnightkiss: If Adrian was hurt it was inflicted by rose and not Dimitri. In last sacrifice she tells dimitri that telling off dimitri was her job and her he let her deal with it.

Except he had sex with her anyway so anything he said is invalid.

Rose isn't an object so she didn't belong to Dimitri. Dimitri is the one who said he didn't want Rose anymore so she tried to make it work with Adrian. Bottom line is Dimitri wasn't with Rose, Adrian was when they had sex. Blaming the person who was cheated on is wrong. Dimitri was a hypocrite and the one being cheap considering Adrian was actually her bf at the time, not Dimitri.
