i agree entirely with you and would like to add the human condition of loneliness. for the creature being abandoned wanted to at least be part of something althought everytime he tryied he either got beat,beat again, shot...therefore his evil actions were only a microcosm of the societies evil. thus he is born inocent but through the society he raised to be a vengeful monster.
