Katie Of course Hamlet is younger - he's still at school. He may be in his early twenties, but is not as likely to be so if you think about how old men went to university back then and that it lasted three years, not four.

Jason Lilly Hamlet's age is often debated. It is one of the ambiguous elements in the play that make it all the more intriguing.
